The Jakarta Social Agency (Dinsos) has noted that as many as 61,649 food packages have been distributed to self-isolating Covid-19 residents in Jakarta from January to March 15.

They are forced to stop making a living temporarily due to self-isolation

Social Protection and Security Division Head Ika Yuli Rahayu said the stock of food packages for self-isolating Covid-19 patients is still safe with a total of 20,000 packages for preparation until the forthcoming December.

Residents with confirmed Covid-19 could report their condition to the Task Force team at the RT and RW levels or the local urban village apparatus. Then the urban village would propose a food package to the Dinsos.

"We have a person in charge to inform the pick-up schedule to prevent long queues," she explained.

She added that it was carried out to lighten their burden during self-isolation.

"Moreover, they are forced to stop making a living temporarily due to self-isolation," she closed.
