The Jakarta Social Agency (Dinsos) has noted that as many as 61,649 food packages have been distributed to self-isolating Covid-19 residents in Jakarta from January to March 15.

Each package consists of 20 kg of rice, one box of instant noodles, two liters of cooking oil, one can of biscuits, and seven cans of sardines.
Social Protection and Security Division Head Ika Yuli Rahayu said the stock of food packages for self-isolating Covid-19 patients is still safe with a total of 20,000 packages for preparation until the forthcoming December.

"Food packages at the Dinsos Office are for residents in Central, North Jakarta, and Seribu Islands. Then at PSBI, its packages to be distributed to West and South Jakarta, including East Jakarta from PSAA," she stated, Wednesday (3/16).
She explained that they would be given based on the Family Card (KK) and for one-time submission. Residents with confirmed Covid-19 could report their condition to the Task Force team at the RT and RW levels or the local urban village apparatus. Then the urban village would propose a food package to the Dinsos.
"We have a person in charge to inform the pick-up schedule to prevent long queues," she explained.
She added that it was carried out to lighten their burden during self-isolation.
"Moreover, they are forced to stop making a living temporarily due to self-isolation," she closed.
