World Royal Heritage Festival to Be Held Biennially

Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department is holding workshop on World Royal Heritage Festival (WRHF) at Grand Cempaka Hotel, Central Jakarta, since yesterday (12/12) until tomorrow (12/14). This activity is held to evaluate the implementation of WRHF last year and plan it better for next year. In the occasion, Jakarta Provincial Government emphasized its commitment to hold WRHF once in every two years.

“According to our commitment, WRHF will be held once in every two years. Through its implementation next year, it is expected there would be more participants and wider publicity. Thus, the tourists would be attracted to visit the capital city,” stated Head of Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department, Arie Budhiman, Friday (12/12) night.
According to Budhiman, WRHF is a very interesting cultural event. It is very suitable to be held in Jakarta, which becomes one of the proofs to affirm city administration’s vision and mission to make Jakarta a cultural city.

In this workshop, Your Majesty Tengku Abdul Aziz, a family relative of Kampung Gelam Palace, Singapore, thanked Jakarta Provincial Government for successfully holding the 2013 WRHF. With this festival, the people become more familiar with the history.
