Street Lights on Jalan Kalibaru Timur Went Out for Over a Month

It has been more than a month the street lights on Jalan Kalibaru Timur, Utan Panjang Urban Village, Kemayoran Sub-District, Central Jakarta, went out. The locals are requesting related unit to immediately repair those malfunctioned lamps because dark condition of the road is endangering motorists and also making the area prone to crime action.

We have reported this matter to related unit, but there is no repair done until now

“We have reported this matter to related unit, but there is no repair done until now. Since dark condition could lure people to commit crime, the residents hope related unit would immediately repair the malfunctioned street lights and replace the lamps that are not too bright,” said Ali Hasan (47), a resident of RT 08/09 Utan Panjang, Saturday (12/13).

Responding this, Head of Central Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-Department, Iswandi, promised to repair the malfunctioned street lights on Jalan Kalibaru Timur immediately.

Locals Complaining Street Light Poles in the Middle of Road

“We will immediately repair it. Citizens who see malfunctioned street lights are pleased to contact Central Jakarta Street Light Post at (021) 231-4444,” he stated.
