The North Jakarta Government will be back to hold a limited Car Free Day (CFD) on Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan, Tanjung Priok, on Sunday (5/29), from 6 AM to 10 AM.
This time, CFD also focuses on controlling air quality
North Jakarta Secretary Acting Assistant (Plt) for Economics and Development Ardan Solihin explained the CFD was limited only to sporting activities or no other activities, such as MSME bazaars, entertainment, and others.
"There are limits for implementing CFD considering it is still in the pandemic and under PPKM Level 1, that's why we have to obey health protocols," he asserted, Saturday (5/28).

North Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) Head Harlem Simanjuntak mentioned that it was actually at nine points and would be under tight monitoring. Those nine points wJalan Sunter Jaya 1, Jalan Agung Timur 1 to 3, Jalan Danau Permai, in front of GOR Sunter, Jalan Kedondong Raya, TL Jubile, and TL Karya Beton.
"Same as last week, we'll deploy around 100 personnel. Before entering the CFD area, people must scan the PeduliLindungi QR code and comply with health protocols," he stated.
