From January to May 2022, the East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency pruned 10,015 trees to prevent trees from falling during the rainy season.

East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency's Green Belt and Cemetery Section Head Atang Setiawan said that tree pruning was carried out every day by involving 91 personnel. They were deployed to 10 sub-districts to monitor and prune trees that were prone to falling in the area, as well as to handle public complaints through CRM application or directly.
"In detail, there were 3,056 trees pruned in January, 2,456 trees in February, 1,657 trees in March, 1,169 trees in April, and 1,677 trees in May," he explained, Friday (6/10).
