Dinsos Distributes Grant Funds to 78 Social Institutions and Foundations

The Jakarta Social Agency (Dinsos) injected grants worth Rp 8.1 billion to 78 social institutions and foundations in Jakarta.

It was realized by the Governor's Decree (Kepgub) No. 530/2022 on Amount and Recipients of Jakarta Social Agency's Grants for the Fiscal Year 2022.

Jakarta Social Agency Secretary Ari Sonjaya conveyed that although it was a grant, social institutions and foundations should be responsible for the assistance administratively.

" We expect good cooperation from social institutions and foundations that have the opportunity to get grants . Because the agency is responsible for making accountability reports," he said, Monday (6/13).

He explained that foundations or social institutions could use the funds to prosper and make social activities successful in Jakarta.

"This is the responsibility of each institution," he added.

Social Protection and Security Division Head Ika Yuli Rahayu said the accountability report would be a reference for social institutions and foundations to receive grants again from Jakarta City Budget (APBD). Therefore, she asked them to submit accountability reports on time.

"This year, three institutions are no longer receiving grants because they don't provide reports on time. Hope they can submit the accountability reports on time," she asserted.
