Let's Participate in Planting and Seeding throughout Jakarta Tomorrow!

The Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Agency collaborated with PT Bank DKI, Jakarta Baznas Bazis, and PT East-West Seed Indonesia to launch a planting and seeding event simultaneously in Jakarta tomorrow, Friday (6/23).

Registration is open from June 22 to 24, 2022

It is realized to enliven Jakarta's 495th Anniversary and implement the Jakarta Regional Strategic Activities (KSD) 15.

KPKP Agency Head Suharini Eliawati said the planting and seeding event is a series of activities of the 2022 Urban Farming Academy and the implementation of the Friday Planting Movement (Go Jakfarm) as well as a continuation of the urban farming development that has been given.

"The aim is to support reforestation and maintain environmental quality as well as sustainably increase food security in Jakarta," she expressed.

She explained that it is open to the public and also urban farming members in Jakarta. So, residents who want to join can register through the link: bit.ly/TanamSerentak.

"Registration is open from June 22 to 24, 2022," she explained.

At the end of the event, an attractive Grand Prize is ready to be distributed to the winners, starting from seed packages, souvenirs, and tickets to visit the PT East-West Seed urban farming location in Purwakarta, productive plant seeds, and trichocompost.

Here are the terms and conditions for the Grand Prize winners:

1. Urban Farming activists who are in Jakarta (can be groups or individuals) and have registered at the link https://bit.ly/TanamSerentak

2. Photograph by planting red arrow stamp seeds or other plant seeds

3. Post photos of planting/seeding activities via Instagram (at least 3 photos in 1 post) by mentioning and following:

4. Make an interesting caption in the post, and add the hashtags #urbanfarmingjakarta #jakartaMandiriPangan #jakartahajatan and #gaknanamgakasik

6. Grand Prize winner will be further informed by the Committee

8. Announcement of winners on June 30, 2022

9. Departure of the winner to PT East-West Seed's Urban Farming location in Purwakarta on July 7, 2022

10. Committee's decision is absolute and cannot be contested
