Invited Guests are Amazed with the Jakarta's Anniversary Ceremony Event

A total of 10 residents who registered through the @dkijakarta Instagram account to take a part in the Jakarta's 495th Anniversary ceremony on Wednesday (6/22) were admitted that they were proud and entertained by the series of events, starting from the contingent parade, documentary film screening on Jakarta development, and IPDN Praja marching band performance.

One of the guests, Wishnu Budi Pratomo assessed that the concept of this year's anniversary ceremony was different from the previous year.

"I work as an employee of a company in Kebon Sirih. I am proud of the development of Jakarta," he stated, Wednesday (6/22).

495 Communities to Enliven Jakarta Hajatan at JIC

According to him, this was the first time he had attended the anniversary ceremony. Therefore, he felt proud to be a part of the history of Jakarta which is starting to recover after the pandemic.

Siti Hilma (28), a resident of Petogogan, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta admitted that she was surprised and didn't expect to receive an invitation to attend Jakarta's 495th-anniversary ceremony. She was impressed and entertained by the event.

"This is the first time the Jakarta's anniversary event is called the Jakarta Hajatan. So, I signed up to participate. It turned out to be a very lively and exciting event," she stated.
