1,000 Jakpreneurs to Get HAKI Certificates for Free This Year

The West Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small Medium Enterprise (PPKUKM) Sub-agency is committed to assisting 1,000 jakpreneurs to get Intellectual Property Rights (HAKI) certificates this year.

Besides, we will also assist 1,000 Jakpreneurs to get halal certificates

West Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head Iqbal Idham Ramid disclosed that Jakpreneurs who want to get HAKI certificates should meet special criteria, such as running a business for at least one year and having a business name and logo.

"The process takes six months to a year because they have to confirm the name, logo, and products," he explained, Tuesday (6/28).

He considered it was important for them to have a HAKI certificate as proof that their products are original and cannot be imitated by others. Another advantage is getting recognition from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights which will also help them to market their products.

"Besides, we will also assist 1,000 Jakpreneurs to get halal certificates in order to make them more advanced and expand their business," he mentioned.
