LH Strengthens Synergy with Multi-Stakeholders in Overcoming Waste Problems

The Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency strengthens synergy with various stakeholders in waste management in Jakarta by holding the Jakarta Waste Collaborator Multi-stakeholders Forum.

We are inviting all layers of society to work together and play an active role in building the city of Jakarta

This activity brings together all collaborators who have been contributing to waste management in Jakarta.

Jakarta LH Agency Head Asep Kuswanto expected the collaborators to participate in planning, execution, and evaluation to find out goals that have been achieved.

"It is a synergy in a program organized by Environment (LH) Agency, aggregators, and collaborators. Thus in the future, we know where we are going and what else we have to do," he mentioned, Friday (7/1).

At the meeting, he conveyed, the collaborators formed a discussion team to determine the programs in 2023 and exchange the best practice ideas regarding waste management in Jakarta and planning for future programs.

The Jakarta LH Agency also opens to people who haven't joined as collaborators to participate in solving environmental issues in Jakarta.

"We are inviting all layers of society to work together and play an active role in building the city of Jakarta," he stated.

Tunas Muda Care (T.Care) Director Firmansyah who also serves as an aggregator of the Large-Scale Social Collaboration of Waste (KSBB Persampahan) was committed to expanding the collaboration with various stakeholders in waste management in Jakarta.

"We will continuously collaborate to make the Jakarta Awareness of Waste a success through the TCare program," he added.

Meanwhile, a representative of the Filantra Foundation Dadi Mulyadi uttered there would be several programs after a discussion forum with other collaborators.

One of them is a direct assistance program between the community and all collaborators thus they can see the actual condition in the field. Thus, the existing shortcomings can be identified and fixed immediately.

"We hope there will be awards for the collaborators who have dedicated themselves to overcoming waste problems in Jakarta," he expressed.

The collaborators participating in the Waste Collaborator Stakeholders Forum are WVI, DCA, Filantra, Rumah Zakat, T.Care, WWF, Askrindo Syariah, Paljaya, Marine Budies Jakarta, ACT, Bank BNI, Bank DKI, Pertamina Lubricants, Eco Enzyme Nusantara, Unilever, Rekosistem, PT. Komatsu Indonesia, Pertamina MOR III, PLN, AHM, Rumah Sosial Kutub, and Danone.
