Over 1,200 People Visit OPD Work Equipment Exhibition at Monas

Around 1,200 visitors visited the exhibition of supporting facilities for regional apparatus organizations (OPD) under the Jakarta administration at the Plaza Selatan Monas Square, which has been taken place from Saturday (2/7) to Sunday (17/7).

The exhibition itself is open from 6 AM to 4 PM every Saturday and Sunday.
Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency Team Commander Baidilah Effendy expressed he said the number of visitors was higher on Sundays as it coincided with the Car Free Day (CFD) along Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin and school holidays.

"During the five days of the event, there were more than 1,200 visitors," he said, Sunday (7/17).
For the Gulkarmat stand, the flying fox facility was the most popular with visitors.
"Many visitors bring their children to try flying fox," he explained.
Aside that, other facilities were also of interest to visitors, namely mobile library car services belonging to the Library and Archives Agency (Dispusip) and operational vehicles belonging to the Water Resources (SDA) Agency such as dump trucks, will excavators, zeting combi trucks, and Tandano.
On the last day of the exhibition on Sunday (7/17), they could also enjoy health check-up services provided by the Health Agency (Dinkes) booth through the Pancoran Health Center.
Pancoran Health CenterCoordinator Kharentika explained that her party introduced a mobile healthcare service called Pelangi Pancoran which served consultations for parents regarding intake or nutrition for children.
"From morning to evening, we serve more than 50 residents. Unfortunately, we do not open the integrated health counseling posts (Posbindu) outlets or vaccines," she explained.
Lilis Haryati (33), a resident of Bidara Cina, Jatinegara, East Jakarta admitted that the exhibition was very good and educational which made the children excited when visiting Monas.
"They usually only watch on YouTube but today they can see it live and ride this big car. They are very happy. Moreover, parents can also share their children's nutritional health here," she concluded.
