Soon, Jakartans will welcome the Grand Launching of Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) tonight. To make visitors comfortable, the Jakarta administration has prepared a public transportation fleet as the residents' mobility to and from the stadium.

Don't worry and be confused, we have prepared officers in the field

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Acting Head Chaidir said his agency prepared arrival/return routes at the stadium, as well as managing the circulation of incoming/outgoing vehicles and the drop-off of public transportation.

"Don't worry and be confused, we have prepared officers in the field. Follow the instructions and please don't park in any place for mutual convenience," he said, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Sunday (7/24).

He added parking locations for VIP/VVIP/invited guests were provided in the stadium and 9 parking locations for residents' vehicles who have tickets to the event.

Of 9 parking locations, 7 are around the stadium, which is located on Jalan Sunter Permai Raya, namely at the Sulianti Soeroso Hospital, Rukan Nusantara parking lot, 17 Agustus '45 University, Graha YKI, D'Arcici Hotel, ITF parking lot, Ruko Sunter Nirwana.

Then at Ancol Karnaval and C3 (behind the Bandar Kemayoran flats). At these locations, a free shuttle bus would be available to take visitors to and from the stadium.

While for parking locations at Soeroso RSPI, 17 August 45 University, Graha YKI, D'Arcici Hotel, Ruko Sunter Nirwana, Ancol Karnaval and C3 the drop off point for the bus shuttle is via the West Ramp.

"Each parking location, there are 50 shuttle buses to serve them until the stadium from 9 AM to 11 PM. We call on residents to follow the provisions for drop-off and pick-up points, and take advantage of this facility following the operating hours," he explained.

He explained that vehicles parked in parking pocket locations around the stadium would be directed out towards Selatan Sunter Permai Raya via Danau Sunter Utara.

As for operational service vehicles, parking was provided at BMW Park, while the pick-up and drop-off points at the Ramp Barat Bus Stop for Ojol (online ojek) from 9 AM to 11 PM.

The following is the visitor access traffic to the 7 shuttle bus pick-up points:

1. From the East via Jalan Bisma Raya – Jalan Sunter Permai Raya – Sunter Permai parking location

2. From the East via the port toll exit Ancol via Kemayoran - Jalan Benjamin Suaeb - C3 Kemayoran parking location

3. From the West via the Port Toll exit Kemayoran - Jalan Benjamin Suaeb - C3 Kemayoran Parking location

4. From the South via Jalan Gunung Sahari - Jalan Lodan Raya - Jalan Benjamin Suaeb (C3 Kemayoran parking location) or go straight to the port toll road (Ancol Karnaval parking location)

Nevertheless, Dishub calls on residents to ride public transportation because of limited parking location.
