Percepat Transformasi Digital, Pemprov DKI Gandeng PricewaterhouseCoopers

Jakarta, PwC Join Hands to Support Electronic-Based Government System

The Jakarta administration has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) Consulting Indonesia to implement the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) and Digital Transformation.

We appreciate them (PWC) to be involved here

The signing was witnessed by Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan together with the ranks and PT PricewaterhouseCoopers Counseling Indonesia President Director Marina Reim Tusin at the Jakarta City Hall's Great Hall on Monday (8/8) morning.

"We appreciate them (PWC) to be involved here, as once it comes to digital transformation, we need parties who have access to best practices, and experience operating in various countries that have examples of practice, both proven to fail and succeed," expressed the Governor, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

He hoped that they could provide the impetus for rapid digital transformation for the progress of Jakarta and improving services for its residents.

"We need encouragement for us to change quickly, especially in Jakarta, which, if processed using automation or digital, will have the potential to be more effective and efficient. By so, we can advance the city better and faster, from internal to public service," he added.

He also hoped that Jakarta would become a pilot project in implementing digital transformation in his government system.

“We want Jakarta to become a model thus other cities can do the same. Especially in terms of complexity, we have the most. If the system can run well, other cities will be easier to adopt it," he explained.

Below is the scope of the joint agreement:

(1) SPBE Governance Assistance

(2) SPBE Management Assistance

(3) Assistance for the Acceleration of SPBE implementation

(4) Monitoring and Evaluation of SPBE Implementation

The term of this Collective Agreement is valid for four years. Meanwhile, the implementation of the Collective Agreement will be followed up with a Cooperation Agreement following the agreed scope.
