Central Jakarta Mayor Dhany Sukma launched 'Ayo Menabung dengan Sampah' (Let's Save with Garbage) movement at SMPN 216 Jakarta, Jalan Salemba Raya, Kenari Urban Village, Senen Sub-district, on Tuesday (8/9).

The same action was also spotted in 27 schools from elementary to high school/vocational school levels spread across eight sub-districts throughout Central Jakarta.
On that occasion, the mayor said that the Ayo Menabung dengan Sampah movement was made in collaboration with Central Jakarta Region I and II Education sub-agencies, Environment Agency (LH), and PT Bank BNI.

"This will also shape the character of students who care about the environment thus the waste disposed of at the Bantargebang Landfill can be drastically reduced," he stated.
