DTKJ Initiates Sister City Collaboration between Seribu Islands and Raja Ampat

The Jakarta City Transportation Council (DTKJ) made a working visit (Kunker) to the Raja Ampat National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN) in West Papua from August 22 to 26, 2022.

DTKJ Chairman, Haris Muhammadun said that the DTKJ 1 team made a working visit to Sorong City and Raja Ampat Regency to survey the management of water transportation in support of the Raja Ampat KSPN.
"As we know, Jakarta has the Seribu Islands KSPN which will continue to be fixed from the transportation aspect," he expressed, in a written statement, Tuesday (8/30).
DTKJ Hopes Jakarta LRT Can Increase CollaborationHe explained that the visit was done, as the transportation sector is an important element in supporting tourism.
"InsyaAllah, this is very useful and DTKJ will encourage the Governor to collaborate by making a "sister city" collaboration between Seribu Islands and Raja Ampat regencies," he explained.
He added that the program was part of an effort to align Seribu Islands with other administrative cities in Jakarta.
