The Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency (Dukcapil) opens Rabu Petang (Wednesday Evening) service in all five regions of Jakarta.
All population administration service counters will serve the community until the evening
Community services that are open from 8 AM to 4 PM will be extended for 3.5 hours until 7:30 PM on the first and last Sunday of each month.
"All population administration service counters will serve the community until the evening from the provincial, city, sub-district, and urban village levels. Hopefully, Jakarta residents who are busy with routine activities will have the opportunity to propose their population administration after returning from work," expressed Jakarta Dukcapil Agency Head, Budi Awaludin, when he inspected the service counter in Koja Urban Village, North Jakarta, Wednesday (10/19).
Dukcapil Receives Award from KemenkumhamAccording to him, it has been opened in West Jakarta, which is the pilot and test area for this program. Nevertheless, the same service will simultaneously run throughout Jakarta until the evening. By providing convenience for the community, the government is present amid the residents with optional services, thus all community needs can be met.
Because Dukcapil services are the main requirement over other services, all officers are expected to provide services in earnest. It is also part of a series of data updating and part of the Gerakan Indonesia Sadar Adminduk program.
"The purpose of this monitoring can directly review and monitor services that remain right on track, resolve problems/crises that occur in the field quickly and accurately, and maintain synergy with stakeholders," he explained.
Regarding administrative service problems that residents have been complaining about, such as complicated requirements, time-consuming practices, and illegal levies, the Dukcapil continues to improve and strive to be better following the direction of the Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono.
