Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Commission E Member, Idris Ahmad appreciated the Jakarta Provincial Government's quick action through the Health Agency (Dinkes) in disseminating and handling cases of atypical acute kidney failure to the public.

According to him, the steps taken through all health centers in Jakarta that carried out massive data collection, socialization, and education to the community were very appropriate. Moreover, there are still many people who are still ignorant about this disease.

Dinkes Head, Widyastuti stated that through a webinar on Saturday (10/22), based on data collection conducted from January to October, there were 82 children with acute kidney failure in Jakarta.
"We have carried out an investigation. We're doing it as quickly as possible for fast detection and anticipation," she expressed.
Her agency prompted the TP PKK to Dasawisma to work together in providing motivation and understanding to the community in handling this case.
Even, she had also done safeguards on substances that can trigger acute kidney disorders.
"We have taken precautions as early as possible in order to minimize panic in the community," she closed.
