Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, received a visit from the management of the Indonesian Child Protection Agency (LPAI) at Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday (11/8).

He explained that as many as 40 participants who will take part in the congress offline come from three provinces, namely Jakarta, Banten, and West Java.
"We're synergizing with the Jakarta Provincial Government in the implementation of the XV Indonesian Children's Congress. The remaining hundreds of children will take part in online activities," he explained.
He went on to say that LPAI has also held a series of meetings with the leaders of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) under the Jakarta Provincial Government to prepare for the event.
"We're still finalizing the event location. We also invite the President, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo to attend online where it will be closed by the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs," he added.
LPAI Secretary, Titik Suhariyati added that various activities would be held during the congress as an aspiration, which is one of the basic rights of children, namely participation.
"From this congress results, there are children's voices that will be conveyed to the president. We hope that the government will support it," he closed.
