Seribu Islands Economy and Development Assistant, Iwan P Samosir said that the travel fair is an effort to promote tourist destinations and unique products from Seribu Islands, thus people in the Greater Jakarta area are interested and make visits to the Seribu Islands.
"What we just built after the pandemic, there is a religious tour of the family grave site of the Sultanate of Banten on Panjang Island. Then there is also an MSME culinary center on Untung Jawa Island," he expressed, Tuesday (11/29).

As the pandemic graph has decreased, he hoped that tourism activities and visits to Seribu Islands have increased again, thus the tourism sector can accelerate the economic growth of the people in Seribu Islands.
"There are natural attractions such as snorkeling, diving, and fishing. Then there are historical and religious tours that are no less interesting," he said.
Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency Head, Puji Astuti explained that the Seribu Islands Travel Fair which took place at the Blu Plaza shopping center has been held from Monday (11/28) to Friday (12/9). Besides showing tourism promos, culinary and craft products typical of the Seribu Islands were also displayed as well as entertainment.
"We invite several travel agents to provide several tourism promotions. We will carry out similar activities in rotation to several locations in Greater Jakarta," he stated.
