Anwar: Residents, Let's Keep Our Environment Clean as Best We Can

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar once again urged residents to always keep their environment clean in order to anticipate the intensity of rain at the beginning of the year.

According to him, maintaining cleanliness was not only the duty of PPSU personnel but residents must also be active in maintaining cleanliness in their respective environments.

"Let's protect the environment as best we can. Don't just rely on them (PPSU), you also have to keep the environment clean together," he expressed, Monday (12/5).

He said that residents must work together to maintain and clean the water channels in their respective neighborhoods. Thus, it was expected to create a sense of ownership and responsibility in protecting the environment.

"Principally, we teach them how to create a beautiful, clean, green, and beautiful East Jakarta, thus the results can be felt together. People from outside East Jakarta who pass by will also feel the same way," he closed.
