Jakarta Wins 2022 Water Skiing National Championship

The Jakarta contingent won the overall championship in the 2022 Water Skiing, Wakeboard, and Wakesurf National Championships (Kejurnas) at Lake Sunter, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Sunday (12/18). It was participated by 13 provinces and 130 athletes.

This is a joint success of athletes, coaches, assistant coaches, and administrators

Water Skiing& Wakeboard Executing Head, Adi Jaya Gumelar expressed that the contingent managed to grab 11 medals, namely six gold, two silver, and five bronze. East Java won second place with five gold and three silver, and North Sumatera (Sumut) won third place with two gold, one silver, and two bronze.

Then the fourth place was achieved by Riau with one gold, three silver, and one bronze, South Sumatra with one gold, West Java with five silver and four bronze, Banten with one silver, and South Sulawesi with one bronze.

"Jakarta wins became the overall champion in the 2022 National Championship for water skiing and wakeboarding," he expressed, Monday (12/19).

He added the gold medals won included Serda TNI AL Dimas with Trick numbers (men), Surdinsyah Wakeboard numbers (men), Kanaya Wakeboard numbers (women), Naila Trick numbers (women), and Emilia Slalom numbers (women).

Marine Colonel (Purn) Daniel Mudji Rahadi added that Jakarta's athletes' achievements could not be separated from the participation of the Head of the Jakarta Water Skiing and Wakeboard Association (PSAWI), Rear Admiral Irvansyah and all coaches, assistant trainers, and administrators.

"This is a joint success of athletes, coaches, assistant coaches, and administrators. We also thank the Ketum PSAWI, Mr. Irvansyah, who always cares about the achievements of athletes," he stated.
