Three Seed Gardens Supply Plants Under Becakayu Toll Road

The East Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency has prepared three seed gardens supply plants to be planted in the area under the Becakayu Toll Road, which is approximately eight kilometers long.

East Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin said the three seeds prepared for the production of various types of plants were from Taman Pulo Indah Seed Garden (TPI), Pulogebang Seed Garden, Cakung, Kampung Dukuh, Kramat Jati, and Malaka I TPU, Duren Sawit.

"Every day, we produce at least 100 seeds of ornamental plant types Pilo Kuning, Hanjuang Kribo, Gandarusa Merah and Putih," he said, Thursday (1/12).

He explained that the production of this ornamental plant nursery involved dozens of PJLP workers in the infrastructure section. They were from Taman Pulo Indah (10 workers), Kampung Dukuh (eight workers), and TPU Malaka I (five workers).

"The results of this nursery are distributed to embroider greenery in green lanes and parks throughout the East Jakarta area," he added.

Last year, he claimed to have succeeded in producing more than 50,000 ornamental plant seeds. The nursery model was done by cuttings and put in polybags.

As for the information, the seeds of this plant have been planted in the area under the Becakayu toll road, several green belts and parks in East Jakarta, as well as other points.
