The Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat) is set to explore cooperation with building owners to add fire stations this year.
Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Headm Asril Rizal expressed so far there have been 18 fire stations and eight sector offices in his zone.
Gulkarmat to Add More Fire Stations in the Capital"Only several urban villages have fire stations because of limited land. Our effort is to add more fire stations by involving building owners," he said, Monday (1/16).
Thus far, the agencies or institutions that have cooperated regarding the placement of fire extinguishers such as TVRI, State Secretariat, and DPR.
The additional fire station was an effort by his staff to optimize service to people in need.
