DPRD Supports Jakpro to Finalize Jakarta E-Prix 2023

Preparations for the holding of the Jakarta E-Prix 2023 which are being finalized by PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) have received support from several members of the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD).

"We can only provide policies and supervision, thus the event process can run well. This year, we hope to have more viewers from abroad in order to boost our economy," he expressed, Monday (1/23).
DPRD Chairman Pras Calls on Residents to Keep Clean During New Year's EveHe explained that the Jakarta E-Prix 2023 is a challenge for Jakpro's new directors and proving their work capacity.
"They (Jakpro) are optimistic that they are ready. They are also ready to hook up sponsors," he expressed.
The same statement also came out from another member, Cinta Mega. She agreed with organizing this event and would support Jakpro.
"The circuit is still good but there are weeds that need to be cut. We're just waiting for this event to hopefully continue," she expressed.
Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Prasetio Edi, popularly called Pras admitted he had no objections to the plan to hold the Jakarta E-Prix which Jakpro is currently finalizing.
"We support it but do not use the City Budget (APBD). They must be more independent and mature looking for a suitable sponsor," he asserted.
PT Jakpro President Director, Iwan Takwin confirmed that he was finalizing all technical and non-technical preparations the upcoming E-Prix. Every two weeks, the Formula E Operation (FEO) as the global organizer of electric car racing will routinely check the circuit.
This is slated to take place on June 3 and 4, 2023. His party is currently opening communications to related parties who have the potential to sponsor the E-Prix.
"Physically, the circuit has no problems. It's just that a little maintenance is needed, such as cleaning the bushes, repainting the tracks, and barriers. We make sure this event is purely a sponsorship, without the APBD," he said.
