Flood in Jakarta Receded Drastically

Operational Control Center (Pusdalops) Jakarta Disaster Management Agency noted, some areas in Jakarta are still inundated until Friday (2/13) morning. The inundated urban villages were spreads in East Jakarta, West Jakarta, and North Jakarta.
There only 3 areas that still flooded except Central and South Jakarta
Jakarta Prevention and Preparedness Head of Disaster Management Agency, Tri Indrawan said , the number of flooded areas have reduced drastically. Based on data at 6 AM, only 10 areas that still inundated with the water level around 10-100 centimeters.
"There only 3 areas that still flooded except Central Jakarta and South Jakarta," said Indrawan, Jakarta City Hall, Friday (2/13).
Rainy Season, Beware of these 89 Flood Prone PointsIn West Jakarta, the inundated areas are located in Kapuk urban village, Cengkareng sub-district RW 01 RT 01 and 02 with water level around 10-20 cm, then at Grogol urban village, Grogol Petamburan sub-district RW 03 RT 01-015 with 10 to 15 cm flood, and at Tegal urban villages area, Kalideres sub-district RW 02-07 and 012 with water level around 20-50 cm.
Meanwhile in East Jakarta, RW 07 RT 04, 014, and 017 in Cakung Barat urban village, Cakung sub-district also inundated. Besides that, Rawa Terate urban village, Cakung sub-district RW 05 RT 04 were inundated with 60 cm flood. Then, RW 01 to RW 08 at Kampung Melayu urban village, Jatinegara subdistrict were flooded around 20-100 cm.
Furthermore, in North Jakarta, RW 08 and RW 12 at Kali Baru urban village, Cilincing sub-district flooded with 10 to 30 cm. Then RW 03 in Semper Barat urban village, Cilincing sub-district inundated with 5 cm. Next, RW 05 in Penjaringan urban village, Penjaringan sub-district with 20 to 30 cm flood. Then, RW 06 and RW 011 at Tanjung Priok urban village, Tanjung Priok sub-district were flooded with 30 to 40 cm.
"The refugee's number is also decreased from 14 thousands to 815 refugees. They are placed in 6 refugee's camps," added Indrawan.
He mentioned, some of the refugee have went back to their house because the flood was recede. They also start to clean their house from mud. "Some of the refugee
went back to their home," he disclosed.
