This Year, Three New Parks Built in West Jakarta

West Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-Agency plans to build parks in three urban villages this year.

We will execute them in July or August 2023

West Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-Agency Head, Romy Sidharta expressed the budget has been allocated for the construction of three parks in mid-this year

"These parks will be built in Kebon Jeruk, Kalideres, and Semanan urban villages. We will execute them in July or August 2023," he expressed, Thursday (2/9).

He explained that the status of the land for the three parks to be built was social and public welfare assets belonging to the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"The park on Jalan H Marzuki, Kebon Jeruk will have 3,899 square meters wide, Bulak Teko Park in Kalideres will have 6,850 square meters wide, and Semanan Park will have 1,570 square meters wide," he explained.

Previously, his party had held meetings with residents in the three sub-districts to collect aspirations in drafting the concept of the park to be built.

"So, the three parks' concept later is in accordance with the expectations of residents, and is expected to be useful as a space for interaction between residents," he closed.
