In managing the city, the Jakarta Provincial Government applies several strategies, thus it can be sustainable and beneficial to the community. Starting from physical arrangement to system-based certification of land assets.
I asked for these lands to be treated intensively to become a featured area
In approximately six months under the leadership of Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, the Jakarta Government mapped and managed the less maintained areas in each urban village, which were then referred to as the featured areas. Thus, there will be an additional 267 new parks according to several sub-districts in Jakarta. He said this number will continue to grow.
"There are lands owned by the local government. Then, I asked for these lands to be treated intensively to become a featured area for better management. This is cross-regional mutual cooperation. Urban village heads, sub-district heads, mayors, and related sub-agencies help each other to realize this featured area. Besides making our city greener, it can also be empowered for food security programs for Jakarta residents," he expressed, at City Hall, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Thursday (3/16).

Then, on the side of the Soekarno Hatta Airport toll road, the Pluit warehouse area, North Jakarta, as arrangements ahead of the 2023 ASEAN Summit.
He added the Jakarta Government is synergizing with Agrarian Ministry and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency Ministry (ATR/BPN) to identify land and spatial planning issues in Jakarta. He also explained that the Jakarta Government will intensify the One Million Simultaneous Boundary Marking Community Movement (GEMAPATAS), which is a national program from the ATR/BPN Ministry, which aims to socialize and educate residents, thus it can minimize land dispute problems and eradicate land mafia.
"Hopefully, the cooperation between Jakarta Government and ATR/BPN Ministry can realize legal compliance in land matters. We will continue to socialize and educate Jakartans to care about land ownership limits, thus they will arrange certificates to avoid disputes in the future," he explained.
To accelerate the certification of land assets owned by the local government, the Jakarta Government is no longer manual in carrying out certification, but is system-based. The construction of an e-certification system for land assets or named SiAmanah (Land Asset Security Application Information System) was carried out to facilitate the application for integrated certification in Jakarta One application belonging to Jakarta Cipta Karya, Spatial Planning, and Land Affairs Agency. This system is also a form of legal security, thus regional assets are protected.
In responding to the post-relocation challenges of the nation's capital to the Nusantara Capital (IKN), East Kalimantan, he and the ranks of the Jakarta Government held a meeting with the National Development Planning Minister/National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Head, Suharso Monoarfa at City Hall, to discuss plans Jakarta layout. There was also a meeting with State Assets Directorate General, and Finance Ministry, regarding the utilization of state assets in Jakarta after the capital moved to IKN.
"It is important to synergize with the central government, thus we can accommodate the use of government offices which have been used as the central office after the capital city moved. The decision on how it will be utilized is the Finance Ministry's authority. Hopefully, the growth in development at IKN Nusantara will continue, while the sustainability of development planning in Jakarta is also going well," he explained.
In addition, the ranks of the Jakarta Government also carried out Focus Group Discussions with Bappenas, ATR/BPN Ministry, Home Ministry, Public Works and Public Housing Ministry (Ciliwung Cisadane River Basin), Communication and Informatics Ministry, Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry, National Asset Management (LMAN), and Telecommunications Network Operators Association (APJATEL) regarding Jakarta's post-relocation of the capital city.
The socialization of Gubernatorial Regulation No. 31/2022 on Detailed Spatial Plan (RDTR) for Jakarta is also continuing, thus all residents understand Jakarta's plans going forward, so they can participate in collaborating with the Government in developing the city.
