Based on Nasional Democratic (Nasdem) Central Executive Board (DPP) instruction, Nasdem Fraction in Jakarta City Council finally revoked support of inquiry right for Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama related to 2015 City Budget.

Basically, we want the budget to be completed soon

Nasdem Fraction Head, Bestariu Barus said, his side will immediately attract the support of questionnaire rights for Jakarta Governor related to 2015 City Budget. Moreover, Nasdem Central Executive Board also instructed the fraction to withdraw from the inquiry right committee.

"Basically, we want the budget to be completed soon," said Barus, Monday (3/2).

However, Barus continued, his fraction asked Jakarta Provincial Government to improve their communication way, so the Jakarta City Council can together build the capital with them. "We also can improve our communication better," he said.

He mentioned, Nasdem Fraction will obey the Nasdem Central Executive Board instruction to withdraw from inquiry right. Furthermore, the fraction will only support the inquiry right committee to finish their task without getting involved in the process.

"We already decided to support law enforcement related to the violation and let the process to keep running. Based on that, we also agree to not involve in this process. If the governor did the mistake, he will automatically withdraw without the inquiry right," he disclosed.
