Januari - April, South Jakarta PMI Served 13,281 Blood Donors

The South Jakarta Branch Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) has served 13,281 residents who donated their blood in blood donation activities along January to April 2023.

Since January to April, we served 4,424 people at PMI Heaquarters and 8,857 others through door to door service

South Jakarta Branch PMI Chairman, Abdul Haris expressed his party opened a 24-hour blood donation service at PMI headquarters post and a door to door system to schools, shopping centers, houses of worship, offices, etc.

In providing mobile blood donation services, his party prepared two mobile blood donor cars with seven medics.

South Jakarta PMI Successfully Collects 33,956 Blood Bags

"Since January to April, we served 4,424 people at PMI Heaquarters and 8,857 others through door to door service," he explained.

His party also provided other health services, starting from blood check-up for 16,727 people, blood sugar check-up for 3,163 people, cholesterol check-up for 157 people, and uric acid for 132 people.

"Our target is to touch 252 schools. So far, we have touched 109 and the rest will continue to be intensified until December 2023," he stressed.
