102 Sacks of Mud Transported from Channels on Untung Jawa Island

The Seribu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency, managed to collect 102 sacks of mud and garbage from the water channels in RW 01, 02, and 03, Untung Jawa Island, South Seribu Islands.

Seribu Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri stated the channel cleaned in RW 01 was up to 938.27 meters long with 55 sacks of mud. Then in RW 02, the personnel collected 36 sacks from the channel along 851.2 meters and 11 other sacks from the channel along 385 meters in RW 03.
"This is an activity to maintain the facilities and infrastructure of the water flow drainage system. In total, as many as 102 sacks have been collected from the channel," he expressed, Tuesday (9/5).
Channel on Jalan VIJ II Cideng Being Dredged from MudHe explained it is a routine activity and carried out regularly. It has been carried out since early September (9/1) and is targeted for completion this week.
"It involves 20 personnel. They work manually with simple tools such as sacks, hoes, and sieves," he explained.
"Hopefully, it can minimize inundation when it rains," he hoped.
