"We also want to bring Pasar Baru back to the public," he expressed, Friday (9/22).

He explained the Pasar Baru Festival will be held on September 29, 2023. There will be a variety of creative arts attractions and other interesting entertainment during the event.

"We'll keep trying to maximize public visits to Pasar Baru," he explained.

Central Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf) Head, Wiwik Satriani added activities that would be presented included: musical performances, lion dance, tanjidor, traditional Indian dance, UKM Bazaar, and exercise together.

"We plan to present the legendary singer, Titik Puspa. She is the author of the song Kelinci. In ancient times, Pasar Baru was an area called Gang Kelinci," he explained.

Hopefully, people can visit the Pasar Baru Festival, thus the market can be busy again.
