Seribu Island Festival on Lancang Island Tomorrow, Be There!

The Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-agency is abouy to hold the Seribu Island Festival at the Lancang Island Football Field, South Seribu Islands, Saturday (9/2) tomorrow.

Promotional Attractions and Creative Economy Section Head, Ahmad Farihin said he said the Seribu Islands Festival this time is not much different from previous events. It would feature a variety of musical entertainment performed by well-known artists from the capital city.

"The event is the same as before. What is different from other islands, we will show the Lenong Betawi attraction tomorrow night," he expressed, Friday (9/1).

He explained Lenong Betawi's attractions at this festival are packaged in a modern way with young talents and guest stars from celebrities and public figures. Guest stars who are confirmed to perform include Ridho Rhoma, Caffein Band, and the Melayu Perempuan Modal Sayur Orchestra Band (OM PMS).

"Hopefully, it can support the tourism sector and attract more tourists to Seribu Islands," he hoped.

It was also expected to boost the economy while improving the welfare of the people of Lancang Island. Considering, throughout the event, there would be a bazaar which involves dozens of MSMEs.

"I hope that it can also boost the wheels of the community's economy by empowering MSMEs," he stated.
