Jakarta Beraksi Program Launched in Galur

The Central Jakarta administration launched the Jakarta Beraksi Program at the Komando Ceria Galur RPTRA, Jalan Rawa Tengah, Galur, Johar Baru, Monday (9/25).

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma said the Jakarta Beraksi program is one of the government's efforts to reduce stunting together with private companies as foster parents.
"Thank you to MNC Peduli for contributing to reducing stunting in Central Jakarta. In Galur, there are 18 children intervened by MNC as foster parents for 90 days," he said.
Anwar Monitors Providing Nutritious Food to Stunted ToddlersDuring its execution in the field, the program was assisted by PKK cadres at the RT to RW level. These cadres were involved in helping to process food and distribute it to stunted toddlers.
"All food and child growth and development are also monitored directly by a nutritionist," he expressed.
He hoped that it could be an example for other companies to have high awareness of stunting cases.
"Until now, in Central Jakarta there have been eight companies that have become foster parents," he explained.
Central Jakarta TP PKK Chairwoman, Ucu Jamilah added that besides the government's task, the private sector and elements of society should also help eradicate this stunting problem.
"I appreciate and thank MNC Peduli for providing something for children so they can be free from stunting," she stated.
