MSME Area on Jalan Pejambon Begins to Be Arranged

Some 30 personnel of Satpol PP and PPSU were deployed to arrange the MSME area on Jalan Pejambon, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (10/10). The area would be renovated with new nuances and concepts by collaborating with Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI).

This location was initially poorly maintained

Gambir Sub-district Head, Andri Ferdian said as many as 27 culinary traders had been recorded. They had previously been socialized about the concept of structuring and its goals.

"This location was initially poorly maintained. Hopefully, after the area is arranged, it will become greener and more comfortable," he said.

To get optimal results, personnel tore down stalls belonging to traders at the location.

"This arrangement concept carries an urban-open connected food market. This building is made with adequate circulation because there is open space for visitors," he explained.

He added each stall was planned to be built with dimensions of 2.23x3 meters using a UPVC hollow steel frame.

Central Jakarta Economy and Development Assistant, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting added the arrangement started today and is targeted for completion in the next three months.

"Hopefully, it can attract more visitors," he hoped.
