The Poland Embassy Ambassador in Jakarta and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, supported by the Jakarta Provincial Government, held a Polish Festival on Car Free Day in Jakarta, Sunday (11/12).
Today's event will strengthen the already well-established relations between Indonesia and Poland
The Polish Festival is held in celebration of Poland's 105th Independence on November 11, as well as to promote Polish products and increase cultural exchange between Indonesia and Poland.
Deputy Polish Ambassador to Indonesia, Piotr Firlus and Polish Investment and Trade Agency Head, Jacek Kołomyjec handed over the Polish national team football jersey/costume signed by Robert Lewandowski to Regional Cooperation Bureau Head for City Secretary, Marulina Dewi who was accompanied by Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency Head, Andri Yansyah.

"We strongly believe that holding today's event will strengthen the already well-established relations between Indonesia and Poland and improve understanding of the rich culture of both countries for the residents of Jakarta and the Polish community," she expressed, Monday (11/13).
Besides being a global city and strengthening friendship between the two countries, this event also aims to promote advanced city facilities to the Polish community in Jakarta.
Copernicus Day & Walk was also held to commemorate the Nicolaus Coppernicus' Anniversary, a Polish resident who was very famous throughout the world as a mathematician and astronomer.
As for the information, Coppernicus Walk is a fun walking activity from Bundaran HI to Grand Lucky, SCBD which is attended by Jakarta residents and the Polish community who are active on Car Free Day.
