Acting Governor Appreciates Urban Village and Sub-district Ranks in Jakarta

They are the front line who interact directly with the community

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono gave directions to the state civil apparatuses (ASN) within the Jakarta Provincial Government at the Townhall Meeting for Regional Performance Organizing, at Jakarta City Hall, Central Jakarta.

It was intended as a forum for evaluating the results of the performance of each region, starting from the administrative city/district, urban village, and sub-district levels.

He appreciated all urban village and sub-district heads who contributed to the 'Bakti Kita untuk Jakarta' mass cleanup action and synergized in regional planning with the concept of green open space and urban farming.

"They are the front line who interact directly with the community. Prioritize cleanup action needs by encouraging resident participation in regional development planning and involving community empowerment," he expressed, in the Jakarta Government's press release.

He also urged all levels from the provincial to sub-district level to anticipate the possibility of inflation towards the end of the year. He hoped that Jakarta ASNs could continue to improve their services and performance in handling public complaints.

"That's why, work well and start from small things in stages. I always give appreciation to those who consistently work to maintain optimal performance. Those who receive this award are given appreciation for comparative studies abroad," he added.

City Secretary's Government Assistant, Sigit Widjatmoko said his party always carried out regional performance evaluations every three months to achieve the best level of community satisfaction.

"In the region, we have also conducted an overall community satisfaction survey throughout Jakarta, with the figure achieved at the sub-district level being 92.05 percent, while 96.81 percent at the sub-district level. Alhamdulillah (Thank God), we can get an example that Pegangsaan Dua Sub-district succeeded in winning the national competition in the performance and regional planning category," he concluded.

On that occasion, the Acting Governor gave awards to several urban villages and sub-districts that successfully run regional performance duties and functions, as well as arranged areas with the concept of parks and green open spaces. Here are some of the winners who received appreciation:
