Clash In 17 Agustus' 45 Injures One

Some people came and chased us while carrying sharp objects. I and others officers immediately ran away to save ourselves

Dozens of people who are in the 17 Agustus 1945 University, Sunter, North Jakarta, suddenly scattering due to chased by 4 unknown people who suddenly entered in campus while carrying sharp objects, Monday (3/30). One of security officers, Firdaus was injured after being jabbed on head and waist. 

The brawl was happened around 7 AM during a morning ceremony of the security officer. At that time, there were no police officers at the scene. It is allegedly triggered by dualism of campus foundation ownership. 

Two Teenager Groups Involved in Brawl in Kampung Sumur

Hassanudin, one of security officers claimed during morning ceremony, a group of people suddenly chased him and other officers. 

"Some people came and chased us while carrying sharp objects. I and others officers immediately ran away to save ourselves," he expressed, Monday (3/30).

Meanwhile, Suhaimi Imran, a legal counsel from foundation caretakers hoped the conflict that was happened in the university can be solved soon. Additionally, his side hoped the city administration could be a mediator to solve the conflict. 

"We hoped the mediation can be done immediately and we thought they the city administration knew about this matter. Don't let it be protracted," he uttered.
