Here are Various New Year Events on Panggang Island

The Panggang Island Sub-district and the Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf) are about to hold public entertainment to welcome the New Year 2024.

It is also held to promote the tourism sector in Seribu Islands

It will be focused next to the Panggang Island Sub-district Office area, North Seribu Islands.

Panggang Island Urban Village Head, Muhammad Fakih Burhanudin said music and fireworks events were prepared to present entertainment to residents and tourists who are on holiday in Seribu Islands

"Besides entertaining people, it is also held to promote the tourism sector in Seribu Islands," he expressed, Wednesday (12/27).

He explained the entertainment featured in this event ranged from hadroh music, traditional dances, modern Betawi Gambang Kromong music, and performances by local bands from Panggang and Pramuka islands.

It would also include the Biang Kerok Band and fireworks party, which is scheduled to start from 8 PM to 12 AM.

"Hopefully, it can give space for residents to express gratitude and hope in setting new goals," he hoped.

He hoped that New Year's Eve celebrations in Seribu Islands could run well and provide a feeling of joy and new enthusiasm to start the coming year.

The public and tourists were also urged to remain orderly and maintain cleanliness during the event. Residents are urged not to force themselves to carry out activities at sea considering that they are currently experiencing extreme, uncertain weather conditions.

"I invite all people to come to celebrate the end of the year with family and friends," he stated.
