Seribu Islands Population and Civil Registration Sub-agency Head, Ginanjar said the achievement of digital KTP was realized through a population administration transition service, which is held in six sub-districts directly by visiting residents' homes.

250,224 Residents of Central Jakarta Targeted to Switch to Digital ID CardsUntil March 3, his party noted that 3,540 residents had been served with digital KTPs with details of 2,233 residents in North Seribu Islands and 1,307 residents in South Seribu Islands.
"The transition to digital KTPs in Seribu Islands this year is targeted to reach 6,315 residents," he explained.
He added the transition from the physical form of KTP to digital was made to make it easier for residents to use KTP only through an application on their cell phones. It is because this digital KTP will be integrated with BPJS, NPWP, Election cards, and so forth.
Residents who want to transfer their KTPs can go directly to the population and civil registration service offices in urban villages by bringing a physical KTP.
"The digital KTP in IKD application makes it very easy for residents to store their KTPs. So when needed, they can immediately open them on their cell phones," he stated.
