The Regional Asset Management Agency (BPAD), led the asset management working group (Pokja) at the 2024 regional apparatus coordination meeting, toward Jakarta becoming a Global City which was held at the Borobudur Hotel, Central Jakarta.

The action plan determined is to improve the quality of governance of the Jakarta Government

The asset management working group discussed several strategic issues and determined follow-up action plans.

Jakarta BPAD Acting Head, Lusiana Herawati said Jakarta was prepared to become an international financial and business economic center after no longer being the National Capital.

Hence, Jakarta must be able to attract global investment with international capacity and create an environment that prioritizes innovation, creativity, and IT-based information.

"And supported by adequate infrastructure, integrated transportation facilities, and superior public services while still paying attention to natural and cultural preservation," she expressed, in her statement, Thursday (2/1).

According to him, the asset management working group was expected to be a means of absorbing input from various regional apparatuses, thus a corrective action plan could be obtained on all strategic issues toward making Jakarta a global city.

"Several strategic issues discussed included certification and security; optimization of utilization; write-off; census; and settlement and finally, development of the asset system," he added.

He hoped that the asset management working group could contribute to the ongoing action plan.

"The action plan determined is to improve the quality of governance of the Jakarta Government towards Jakarta becoming a Global City," he stated.
