PPID Bimtek, Public Bodies Demanded to Optimize Information Services

The Jakarta Communication, Informatics and Statistics Agency (Diskominfotik) held technical guidance (Bimtek) for Information and Documentation Management Officers (PPID) 2024 for the agency and department categories, on the 22nd Floor, Grha Ali Sadikin, Jakarta City Hall, Monday (6/10).

Bimtek was opened by Jakarta Diskominfotik's Public Information Division Head, Raides Aryanto. Meanwhile, the speakers present were Jakarta KI Commissioner, Agus Wijayanto Nugroho and Jakarta Diskominfotik's Public Information Services Subgroup Head, Hary Sanjaya.
Raides Aryanto, when reading the remarks from Diskominfotik Acting Head, Sigit Wijatmoko, welcomed the implementation of Bimtek which invited PPIDs in the agency and service categories under the Jakarta Provincial Government. He assessed, openness of public information is the foundation for building good governance.

He explained the Jakarta government through PPID continues to innovate and open the widest possible access in providing data and information to the public in terms of management and public information services.
"One of them is by developing the PPID Information System and accessibility features on public body portals or websites," he explained.
By doing so, all PPIDs under the Jakarta Government are expected to understand the mechanism for inputting the Public Information List into the PPID Information System for publication via the website https://ppid.jakarta.go.id and be more optimized for registering and answering public information requests from the public.
"Aside that, all public bodies are expected to be able to implement accessibility features on their respective websites, understand the monitoring and evaluation (monev) process for Public Information Openness carried out by the Jakarta Information Commission," he stated.
