As we know that, a number of areas that spread in Jakarta is never separated with clash case, especially in Jatinegara, East Jakarta. No wonder, based on the latest data, there are 12 clash prone-points. Most of these clash involved citizens and students.

There are 4 clash-prone points involving students

In details, citizens' clash-prone points are located in Tongtek Bridge (Kampung Melayu and Bukit Duri Boundary), Jalan Jatinegara Barat (Kampung Pulo), Jalan Otista 3 Cipinang Cempedak (in front of Pasar Camp), Jalan Otista Raya (Tanjung Lengkong), Prumpung, Rawabunga, Kampung Kebon Sayur on Jalan Otista Raya, Bidara Cina. 

There are also Jalan SS Cipinang Lontar or boundary of 3 sub-districts such as Jatinegara, Duren Sawit, Pulogadung, and Cipinang Maja. 

While for students' clash-prone points are Jalan Matraman Raya, precisely in Gunung Antang, Jalan Jatinegara Barat, Jalan Jatinegara Timur, and Jalan Otista Raya, precisely in Cawang Baru or Cawang Kavling. "There are 4 clash-prone points involving students. Usually, it happens at noon and in afternoon," said Syofian Taher, Tuesday (4/28). 

He mentioned, to minimize the clash, his side has invited the army/police apparatus to secure such points together. Even, the neighborhood watch patrol or locally known as ronda is routinely held every Saturday night by involving various components. Because, the clash usually happens at Saturday night. 

"Principally, we keep supervising, observing, and holding a meeting with public figures. The meeting is conducted in clash area," he uttered.
