"It is important to make efforts to reduce stunting in an area by forming a Nutrition Care Group like this," he explained.
He asserted handling the stunting problem is not only KPG's responsibility, but requires cooperation and concern from others, including the private sector, to make South Jakarta zero stunting.
"Hopefully, this KPG is able to provide nutritious food and can also socialize and educate prospective brides, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers about the importance of their role in children's growth and development," he uttered.
Tegal Parang Urban Village Acting Head, Firdaus Aulawy Rois, stated besides holding outreach and coordination with KPG, his party also signed a Commitment to Convergent Action for Stunting Prevention and Reduction in Tegal Parang Urban Village.
"We also involve all stakeholders from the three pillars, environmental administrators, youth organizations, PKK, and Posyandu coordinators to equalize perceptions regarding the handling and prevention of stunting in Tegal Parang," he explained.
He hoped that with good coordination and cooperation in handling the stunting problem, creating a golden generation in the future is not just a dream, but can be realized well.
"This is not just the job of health workers, we all have to play an active role in alleviating stunting," he said.
