West Jakarta Administration intends to demolish 114 illegal buildings located on Ciliwung Riverbank in Pinangsia, Taman Sari. The socialization of demolition has been done since this early year.

After it is demolished, we will install sheet pile. After that the river will be normalized

West Jakarta Secretary, Muhammad Zen uttered, the demolition will be conducted by the end of this month. Considering, some of citizens want it to be conducted after their kids finish National Exam(UN) at Elementary School until High School levels.

"After it is demolished, we will install sheet pile. After that the river will be normalized," he told, Tuesday (5/19).

He disclosed, his party has prepared some flats (Rusunawa) as the relocation place. The flats are including Rusunawa Komarudin,  Rusunawa Pulo Gebang, Rusunawa Daan Mogot and Rusunawa Marunda. There have been 60 occupants recorded receiving the flat key.
