Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta, is holding the Chinatown Festival on January 24-February 2, 2025 to celebrate Chinese New Year 2576 Kongzili.

TMII President Director, Intan Ayu Kartika said in a release on Saturday (1/25) that the festival presents a variety of interesting and educational entertainment for the whole family, starting from Chinatown Bazaar, Timun Vilage Festival, Barongsai, Bian Lian, Angpao Tree, Chinatown Festival Parade, to Kecak Dance.

According to her, her party always seeks to bring something new and different from previous celebrations. As in this Chinese New Year holiday, her side collaborates with many parties, including Ministry of Creative Economy, Jakarta Provincial Government, namely the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency and Culture Agency, Timun Village, and other communities.

She also guarantees that children will definitely enjoy watching the Barongsai performance, as well as making lanterns at Timun Village Festival, getting angpao, while learning about various cultures in Indonesia.
For information, Chinatown Festival and Timun Village Festival will be held on February 24-28, 2025. On that date, visitors can make their own lantern at Lantern Festival which takes place in the TMII Boulevard area.
There is also a Meet and Greet with the Timun Village mascots, angpao for those who bring lanterns, and screening episode of Timun Village at Tirta Cerita Dancing Fountain Show at 18.30 WIB.
"Timun Village is an IP Aniwayang Work (a combination of puppetry and animation) that tells the story of three cute and hilarious deer cubs," she explained.

For visitors who use public transportation, there is a Transjakarta bus stop right at the entrance of TMII. There is also a free shuttle service that directly transports visitors from TMII LRT Station Lobby to TMII Tourist Information Center and vice versa.
