City Renew Transjakarta Driver's Contract

To prevent Transjakarta driver from stop working again, Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) ensures to renew contract of the driver.

In the new contract, we will take over your bus if you stop working

Ahok told, his side will include a new rule in the contract about driver substitute when the main driver stop working because the Transjakarta bus fleet still limited and need to always be operated in order to service capital residents.

"In the new contract, we will take over your bus if you stop working," told Ahok in City Hall, Thursday (6/4).

The number one man in Jakarta Provincial Government also explained, driver's total salaries will also included in new contract. Especially for the articulated bus driver will get 3.5 times bigger than Jakarta Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP).
