Karang Tengah Residents Happily Welcome New Park in Rorotan

The Karang Tengah Park, built on a 320-square-meter land in RW 08, Rorotan Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta,s welcomed with joy by the residents.

This park is well-equipped

RW 08 Chairman, Rorotan Urban Village, Ahmad Fauzi admitted he was proud that in his area has a third space that is not only beautiful and tidy but also Instagrammable.

"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), the Mayor of North Jakarta officially inaugurated the park yesterday afternoon," he expressed, Friday (2/28).

Two Parks will Be Built in South Jakarta This Year

Before the park was built, he explained, the land was often used as a dumping ground, making the environment look shabby, dirty, and smelly.

"We're very happy because this park is part of the community's needs for social activities and interactions, refreshing, and fostering relationships," he explained.

The same statement also came from one of the residents at RT 02/08, Rorotan Urban Village, Rezky Amelia (32).

"This park is well-equipped so that visitors feel comfortable. Kids can also play happily and contentedly," she admitted.

Rorotan Urban Village Head, Ahmad Fitroh explained this park is built as part of an environmental arrangement effort. Besides children's playground, the park would also have PKK's heart, a nutrition pond, chili planting, and other productive plants to maintain food security.

"I appreciate the RT/RW administrators, LMK, and locals who support the existence of this park. For sure, this park will continue to be beautified so that the residents feel more comfortable," he uttered.

He urged the residents to take care of and maintain this park well for the common good.

"Parents are also reminded to always pay attention to and accompany their kids while playing in the park," he said.
