Jakarta City Council Commission A together with Jakarta General Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu), Monday (3/10), held a meeting to discuss about non-election grant fund 2025.

The meeting was led by Jakarta City Council Commission A Chairman, Inggard Joshua, and attended by Assistant of Governmental for Province Regional Secretariat who is also Acting National and Political Unity Agency Head, Sigit Wijatmoko.
According to Inggard, the meeting also discussed the application for Bawaslu regency and city office building facilities, as well as budget efficiency policies in accordance with central government directives.

Inggard added that Jakarta Bawaslu reported the remaining grant fund for the implementation of Regional Head Election 2024 is Rp 61 billion. The fund was granted to finance the supervision of two rounds of regional elections.
"The remaining balance to be returned to the regional treasury, but on the other hand there is a request to cover what activities are affected by the budget efficiency policy at the national level," he added.
He continued to follow up Bawaslu request during the budgetary meeting together with legislative.
Jakarta Bawaslu Head, Munandar Nugraha hoped the request submitted to Jakarta City Council Commission A to be responded on budgetary meeting with legislative.
"According to the mechanism, the remaining Bawaslu grant budget will be reported to the regional treasury and the submitted request will be followed up in a regional government working meeting," he stated.
