The Salemba UI Transjakarta shelter on Jalan Salemba Raya, Central Jakarta is temporarily closed due to heavily damage. The damage is caused by Transjakarta bus fire incident this morning.

The burned shelter looks so ravage. Many pieces of glass are scattered and even the shelter body dents. The traffic around the fire scene is stuck since many residents are curious to see the incident.
A Transjakarta Bus Burned, No Casualty Report“The investigation is still ongoing by police officer. The shelter is closed down temporarily,” Said Deputi Mayor of Central Jakarta, Arifin, Friday (7/3).
In line with the incident, he urged PT Transjakarta to check their vehicle routinely. In his opinion, PT Transjakarta could loose citizen’s trust to use this kind of transportation.
“This incident affected the costumer. If they don't tackle it immediately, citizen could move on to private car,” he disclosed.
