Local residents have expressed their appreciation for the repair and installation of water channel manhole covers on Jalan Bahari V, RT 09/01, Tanjung Priok Urban Village.

One resident of RW 01, Tanjung Priok Urban Village, Taskini (52), conveyed her gratitude regarding the improvements.
According to her, the manhole covers are crucial for enhancing the safety and comfort of residents, given that the road is quite busy.

Meanwhile, Tanjung Priok Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Field Coordinator, Didi explained that the water channel previously lacked proper covers.
"Residents requested repairs for the sake of safety and comfort. We mobilized immediately," he stated.
He added that the installation covers a span of 48.5 meters using concrete plates measuring 60 x 60 centimeters. However, because the channel's rim was uneven, the team had to construct a leveling base before placing the concrete covers.
"This work involves five personnel equipped with the necessary tools," he explained.
He noted that the project commenced on December 12, 2025, and is targeted for completion by next week. He confirmed that there have been no significant obstacles thus far.
"We hope the residents can benefit from these improvements," he concluded.
